Last Wednesday, January 27th, the 5th and 6th grade students had planned to go to the Vinseum in Vilafranca del Penedès to do two workshops. But since we can't go there due to the current situation, the Vinseum suggested to come to the school to do both workshops.
The first workshop was called " A head full of sparrows" with Montse and Anna. They told us that when they came flying, everything they wanted to teach us was untidy. And we said we would help them sort it out. They gave us some dichotomous clues to identify and relate birds to their habitat: what they are like, what they eat, where they live, and what they are called. It was really cool!
Then they showed us dissected birds and some nests they have in the Vinseum collection.
And finally, we did a gymkhana in the playground with different tests on the birds: how they feed, how they hunt, how a duck walks, and so on. All very funny!
